Change that comes with attitude

We point fingers at others often and less we look at ourselves first. We put ourselves above and before others and we don't realise that the reason why the situation is not changing or getting any better is because we are the cause for it. Pride destroys a man but one that is humble finds favour in the eyes of God. If we change our attitude, we can change the situation. Attitude could mean perspective, opinion or character. Each of it is different but every time we lose control of it, we end up putting ourselves in a bad situation. If we can thinking rightly, act rightly and always be humble, that would bring a big change.

Looking above the maze

Often in life we sway on our own direction. We choose what we want to hear and we heed not the rest. But when you are caught up in a maze, would you listen to someone who is standing right beside you who is also lost or someone who is high up on a tower, he/she is able to see clearly the way out? Well, I am sure you would agree with me on this. The one at the highest point would definitely guide your way out from that maze.

Our lives are like that maze. The one on top of that tower is God. He would never want to harm us, but each day, He speaks to us, because He wants to show us the way out of that maze. Listen to Him, and you will definitely mark that race victoriously. The Bible, the Word of God, carries all that we need to live. Because, Jesus Himself is the Word, the Word that leads to life, abundant and eternal. Walk with Him and heed His voice, you will get to where God wants you to be.

Through the Tide

Pounding to outlive another date,
Scabs and bash scratch like a fringe,
Shell my smile to shelter the frail,
Yet citizens deem and take it,
I mislaid tally of the currents,
That clouted my cheek on both banks,
If you can do it for me,
I would be pleased,
But that won’t end the furor inside,
Neither sort, nor shrink,
Of all I clutch You adjacent to my spirit,
A voice so definite that I heed each time,
You never leave me,
I know You won’t,
My eyes can breathe in war at Your beside,
Peace You give beyond than what I ask,
Take me across the river,
My faith is in You.

The spot-on choice

Diagonal drifts and arrowed savannas
A murky mind, dimmed with gust
Burnished at a squint, nonchalant in the inside
But not a place to reside

Unscrupulous thoughts and loathsome visualizations
Right as it clatters to a man’s heart
Immersed in lava, at the crowning of flare
Is that right?

The tolerant in heart is God’s lover
Trading foul with good
Fail not to heed to the whisper of the Spirit
Satan, your time is out.

Leave,
I am God’s child
Bought with a price
Not a man could pay

Sin crouches at my door
I master it
Take no control over me
Authority I exercise
It has been given to me.

LOVE LIKE NO OTHER

When all was still, serene and dark,
A star glowed bright and caused a spark,
The cry was heard in a lonely crib,
And since that day hope was found.

The love you expelled is beyond compare,
No man would give His son and spare,
Eternal life was found when you came,
Then that day, life was never the same.

You are a King right from the beginning,
All creation worship you, and some with myrrh,
Three wise men came with incense and gold,
The whole world today sings at your birth.

Describe me in one word...

Describe me in one word…

Try so many times
Not one that fit perfectly
Plea only the finest
As flawless as it can be

Papers penned with ink
Thoughts gently sink
Few lines, insufficient
To define all that is within

Style me in one word
Tougher than you think
But attend to the core, your heart
It will tell.

When it does,
It can never be traded
It can never be wrong
That’s your song.

The fragrance of the morning glow...

The fragrance of the morning glow...

Comfy chesterfield and olive prairie
Spinal lies as I looked vacantly at the stars in the sky
Clouds are none but one that is in my mind
Someone that I know, not wanting to rewind

All shy and quiet the switch turned on
Laughter and joy bricked its underpinning
Today and tomorrow the green grass grew
Knowing you was like a morning’s dew

Clock was never your thought
You spend all day listening me talk
Four days away is enough to say
Your smile and presence I truly miss everyday.

Seeing you tomorrow, something I anticipate
As I sit and wait for the sun to beam
In just a few hours we shall meet
A huge smile for you as I greet.
